Franklin County under overdose alert after five suspected deaths

The coroner's office reports five suspected overdose deaths in the county since Tuesday, and Columbus Public Health warns that any drug not from a pharmacy can be laced. If someone shows signs of an opioid overdose, experts say to check for a response, call 911 and give naloxone nasal spray.

Naloxone takes minutes to get and is free through Project DAWN at Ohio State outpatient pharmacy locations.
