Ohio History Center stays closed through 2030

The state history museum near the Expo Center, shut since September by a fire-safety system problem, will stay closed for a rehabilitation that has already started. The state is paying for most of it with $58 million over fiscal years 2027 and 2028.

The main museum is off the calendar for years, though archives are open by appointment Thursdays and Fridays and Ohio Village programs continue.
